Now, create an illustrated quote graphic with your chosen blessing and your Shamrock painting from the previous lesson. Follow these instructions and/or watch the video below.
- Scan your shamrock painting or take a photo of it. Upload it to your computer
- Log into Canva
- Click "Social Media" to create a design
- Title your design
- From Elements, select grids. Click on the first grid shown.
- Upload the scan/photo of your shamrock painting to Canva.
- Drag your picture to the work area.
- Select "text" and "add a heading"
- Copy your chosen Irish Blessing from the website
- Paste the blessing in the text box
- Adjust the font color, size and location as needed
- If it is hard to read your text because of the background image, add a transparent box behind the blessing.
- Choose "Elements", then "Shapes"
- Select a shape and drag it to your work area
- Click "back" so that the text is on top
- Adjust the color and transparency
- When you are done, download your design to your computer as a .jpg
- Share your creation two ways....
